We've been customers of Country Artists since their inception back in the early 1980s and we've always been very proud of the association. In the early days, Country Artists restricted themselves to producing birds. Even back then, it was clear that their sculptors and artists possessed a rare talent for accuracy and craftsmanship. They had the ability to capture that single moment in nature, where a robin stands poised and alert, a worm in his mouth, or a bluetit dangles upside down on a tap sipping drips of water. In recent years Country Artists have diversified into a whole wealth of new collections from the animal kingdom. There are dogs, cats, animals from the African Jungle (even pythons and tarantulas) - each one created with the same attention to detail as the very earliest Country Artists birds. One of the most appealing aspects of dealing with Country Artists over the years has been their desire to push back the boundaries. Standing still has never been an option. As well as creating the most accurate and enchanting of wildlife figurines, the craftsmen of Country Artists have developed some wonderfully successful 'alternative' styles. The whacky, creative caricatures from The Breed Apart collection are probably the best example of this break from tradition.
