Humour Meets Bovine Street Art

Cow Parade has proved to be the Public Art phenomenon of the last ten years. It all started in Chicago and New York in 1999, from where it moved to Kansas City, followed by Houston. By 2002 the exhibition had reached London. The great thing about Cow Parade is that it never stands still. it's always moving on. both in size, and in artistic quality and creativity. The concept of the cow sculptures remains unchanged, but each city that is visited is presented with fresh challenges, inspired by local culture. CowParade is never intended to be sophisticated art. It is primarily public art that can be enjoyed by everyone. Ctitical to its success is that CowParade's main function is to support charity. As each event draws to a close, the cows are sold off by auction, with a lion's share going to good causes. The Chicago auction attracted an incredible sum in excess of three million dollars. The Cow Parade phenomenon has really caught on and now makes up one of our successful collectable ranges. There have been over 150 life size Cow Parade sculptures and they have appeared on the streets of capital cities throughout world's major capital cities. Our own collection of Cow Parade replicas represents one of our most successful collectable ranges.
