From the very first time I laid eyes on the Franz Pocelain Collection I was captivated. Here was something totally innovative. A range of porcelain pieces that were not only elegant and luxurious in style, a bit 'flash' too. Exotic and fun. Having delved further into the background behind Franz Porcelain, I soon found out that there was more to this amazing new range than met the eye. It transpires that the originator of the collection is chinese. He began his working life as a potter, but soon made his living manufacturing resin figurines. Although he earned a good living from this, his real love was early twentieth century european porcelain. After many years, he was soon able to fulfil his dream. He opened his own factory and started 'living the dream'. He commenced production of the Franz Porcelain Collection and it wasn't long before his amazing ceramic creations were being exported around the world. Our customers seem to love Franz Porcelain, not just because the shapes are so daring and unusual, but because of the richness of decoration and the depth of the glaze. Nature too is a strong theme with Franz China. Every piece is decorated with elements of flora or fauna from the natural world.
