The Peter Jones Story
In 1963 at the age of only 21, Peter Jones opened his first shop in Cross Street, Wakefield. His commitment and passion for the industry and only the finest products has been the key factor in the ongoing success and development of the company.
For forty years, the company has remained in the Jones family, with Peter still at the helm. Employing over 120 dedicated staff, over 20,000 products are offered from the world's top brands. These products can be found in 10 shops spread across the heart of Yorkshire. But Peter Jones China isn't only about stores. For nearly 40 years, the business has become renowned as the world's most successful Mail Order business in the world of China, Crystal and Collectables. With hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers across the globe, Peter Jones Mail Order has built up a massive following of avid collectors of Royal Commemoratives and Historical and Sporting Memorabilia.
