The Information We Collect
Naturally, so that we can process your orders, we do need some essential information from you. We need your name, address, email and telephone number. If your purchase is to be sent elsewhere, we of course need the name and address of the recipient. All these details are retained on our customer service management system, which is encrypted and secured by GlobalSign.
Your payment information is stored on an independent secure payment gateway which is SagePay.
The SagePay secure payment system doesn’t allow us to view all your complete payment details.
If we need you to verify your payment details by telephone we will only store the data on SagePay.
Use of Your Information
We use your information to provide you with customer service. We may use the data to create a history of your purchases. This often helps if we’re dealing with an enquiry from you about past orders. It also enables us to highlight and advise you of new product, special offers and promotions that we feel might be relevant to you.
If you don’t wish to receive this information then you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us at Enquiries@TheUKGiftCompany.co.uk.
Cookies are how websites gather information about consumer’s internet activity. The data is statistical and non-personal. It allows Google to give us Analytics of consumer behaviour, which when used properly, helps us to enhance your experience as a customer.
You can adjust the settings on your computer to decline any cookies if you wish. This can easily be done by activating the ‘reject cookies’ setting on your computer.
You can also clear unwanted cookies from your browser at any time by using the privacy settings on your browser.
Storing Your Personal Data
By providing your personal data to us, you agree to us storing that information to support additional customer service to you and for using it to process your orders. We’ll do everything we can to make sure that your data is kept secure.
Disclosing Your Information
We promise that we won’t disclose your information to any Third Party unless we are required to by Law or in an effort to reduce fraudulent activity.
However, we do reserve the right, in the unlikely event of part or all of our business being sold, to allow the purchaser to take over our website and all the data within it.
